My cousin wants a pair of hens.
Real hens.
The ones that poop and cluck.
He wants the hens to live in his balcony.
Even though the whole family has tried to make him see the folly of his idea (and that his hypothetical hens will freeze to death in the balcony, turning him into a hen killer) he carries on with his avian fixation.
I've made a tiny hen for him for his birthday, to free him from his odd whim.
It's a magical hen because it lays chocolate eggs, and very practical to have as a pet, because it neither poops nor clucks. And it fits in your pocket!!
The pattern is by La Vaquita de Lanita and it's great. If you have to crochet a hen, take this one into consideration. I love her blog.
